Energy consumption in commercial kitchens is a big issue. Or more to be more technically correct, the fuel bills are big. Working with Aga Foodservice Equipment Leapfrog has been highlighting, through a series of case studies, how commercial kitchens can take advantage of the Carbon Trust Loan scheme. One such case study, at the Golden Lion Inn in Cornwall, has resulted in a strong link with St Austells Brewery, who now think all their pub kitchens should have an energy efficient refurb!
